To create a space where clients feel amazing, stylists feel supported, and good vibes are always flowing. Known for her genuine connections and infectious positivity, Leah is all about making people feel at home—whether you're in the chair of one of her stylists, or just popping in to say hi.

As a hands-on owner, Leah wears all the hats. One minute she’s booking appointments, the next she’s fixing the sink or tinkering with the lights. (Yes, really—she’s basically the salon’s unofficial electrician and plumber too!)

While outside of Oomph , Leah’s world is full of love and energy. She’s been married to her awesome husband Tim for 14 years, is a proud stepmom to Kennedy and Tyler, and a dog-mom to two wild and lovable vizslas, Beans and Rezi. When she’s not at the salon, you’ll find her volunteering in the community, spreading good energy wherever she goes.

STYLIST & NAIL TECHNICIAN

Monica brings over 30 years of experience as a nail technician and 15 years as a hairstylist to the Oomph Salon team, where she’s been a valued member for the past 8 years. Known for her attention to detail and skill with meticulous extensions, Monica takes pride in helping her clients look and feel their absolute best.

She loves meeting new people and building lasting relationships with everyone who sits in her chair. Whether you’re coming in for hair, nails, or a fresh set of extensions, Monica’s warm personality and seasoned expertise make the experience feel like time spent with a friend.

Outside the salon, Monica stays busy with her vibrant family life—she’s married with four kids and a granddaughter who lights up her world. You can often find her cheering from the sidelines at sports events or spending quality time with her loved ones and dogs.

STYLIST

Michelle has been creating beautiful hair for 20 years and has been a valued part of the Oomph Salon family for the past 8. She specializes in blonding and is passionate about helping her clients feel amazing—both in her chair and at home. Her goal is to make styling simple and confidence effortless.

Outside of the salon, Michelle’s life is full and fun. She’s a proud mom of two kids, two bonus kids, and two furry kids (her beloved dogs), and she’s happily married to her “big kid” husband. When she’s not behind the chair, you can find her at the lake, hanging out with friends at the park, or cheering on her favorite football team.

STYLIST

Christina has been creating hair magic for 16 years, and for the last 8, she’s been a beloved part of the team at Oomph Salon. With a sharp eye for detail and a deep love for her craft, she specializes in balayage and precision cuts that blend creativity with technique. Whether she’s crafting sun-kissed highlights or delivering the perfect bob, Christina brings passion, skill, and good vibes to every appointment.

One of her favorite things about working behind the chair? The variety. No two days are the same, and she thrives on getting to know her clients and making their hair dreams come true. Christina takes the time to truly listen, making sure each person leaves feeling confident, beautiful, and totally in love with their new look.

Stephanie thrives in a creative environment, collaborating with other like-minded professionals to deliver exceptional results. She’s passionate about making her clients feel confident and beautiful, using hair as a form of self-expression. Outside of the salon, Stephanie is a self-proclaimed horror movie enthusiast. Though she likes to joke about having an "evil side," those who know her best know she’s all heart! She loves creating a space where clients feel both pampered and understood.

Jessie is a wife and proud mom of four who knows firsthand how busy (and beautiful!) life can be. When she’s not behind the chair, you’ll find her cheering on her kids at their sporting events, camping with her family, or making memories with friends.

With naturally curly hair herself, Jessie is Deva-inspired (educated), and she’s passionate about helping others embrace and love their curls. She believes textured hair deserves specialized care, and a stylist confident and experience to handle it.

Jessie specializes in hair extensions for striaght, wavy and curly hair. She loves showing clients that extensions aren’t just about adding length — they can create volume, non-chemical color changes, or combine all three for a completely customized transformation. Her goal is to create extensions that are comfortable, seamless, and beautifully hidden while always maintaining the health and integrity of the natural hair. She focuses on helping your hair grow longer and thicker even while extensions are installed.

From natural, lived-in color to bold fantasy shades, Jessie is highly skilled in specialty color and creative transformations. More than anything, she loves helping people improve their hair — because when you feel good about your hair, your confidence shines through.

Advanced Esthetician

Angie is a devoted wife and proud mom of two adult children who understands the beauty of every season of life. Outside of the salon, she loves kayaking with her husband and soaking up the peace and simplicity of country living. Her strong faith is the foundation of who she is and how she serves others — with kindness, integrity, and genuine care.

With over 30 years of experience in skincare, Angie brings both wisdom and passion to every treatment she provides. She loves helping people feel confident in their skin, whether that means addressing fine lines and wrinkles, calming acne concerns, or improving overall skin health. When she’s not in the salon, you’ll find her baking, reading books, or spending time with her crew — including their dog James, lovingly called “Jimmy” or “Jim” by her son since he first learned to talk (which still makes her laugh every time).

Outside the salon, Kayden loves spending time with her one-year-old niece, cheering on KU basketball, and attending rodeos. Her warmth and enthusiasm make her a trusted, down-to-earth professional clients return to again and again.

Receptionist

Alla has been helping people feel confident in their skin for 27 years—and for the past 4, she’s been sharing her talent and expertise at Oomph Salon. As a seasoned aesthetician, she’s passionate about creating glowing, healthy skin and believes in treating every client with care, intention, and a touch of joy.

With a gentle touch and a warm heart, Alla specializes in treatments that not only improve the skin’s appearance but also uplift the spirit. Her goal is for every client to leave the salon feeling refreshed, radiant, and more confident—like they’re glowing from the inside out.

Alla is known for her kind, calming presence, but don’t be fooled—she’s got a sneaky sense of humor that keeps things light and fun. Whether it’s your first facial or you’re a regular, you’ll feel completely at ease in her hands.

Originally from Russia and now happily rooted in the area, Alla has a son who lives in Los Angeles and lights up her world. When she’s not in the treatment room, she loves staying active with workouts and bike rides, and she’s always whipping up something delicious in the kitchen.

Receptionist

Maddy has been a loyal and friendly face at Oomph Salon since 2018, serving as one of the salon’s go-to receptionists. She loves seeing clients leave with fresh hair and boosted confidence, and takes pride in helping them book appointments that fit seamlessly into their schedules and lifestyles. Outside the salon, Maddy enjoys gardening, fixing up houses, real estate, traveling, and hiking with her golden doodle, Todd. She’s also the founder of Grow Love USA, a gardening non-profit dedicated to transforming underused yards into thriving, beautiful gardens.

Future Service Dog to the owner

Rezi (which is Hungarian for girl with copper hair), is soon to be a trained service dog. She is a Hungarian Vizsla with a spunky personality. When she isn’t training you can find her running and zooming around her sister Beans, or chasing squirrels. She is working hard to train to be the first service dog employed at Oomph.
